Welcome to my new blog

Hello to all. I've decided to start my own blog as some of my other friends have been doing the same. Since today (Halloween) is one of my favorite fake holdidays, it seems like a good day to start doing this blog thing.

I'd much rather be celebrating Guy Fawkes Night. It's an English celebration resulting from Guy Fawkes attempting to blow up the Houses or Parliament in Westminster (London) in 1605 (see this link for more details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes_Night).

Now that I'm an adult, standing around a bonfire and setting off fireworks seems much more appealing that passing out candy to kids.
