Bon Voyage Dinner

As I speak, I'm at work listening to the Rays on XM Radio. They had a great series against the Boston Red Sox. I'd like to wish them the best of luck.

Jost Van Dyke

In my quest to visit every island in the Caribbean, we are making plans to visit Jost Van Dyke, which is only 5 miles from Tortola. There is regular ferry service between the islands. After I sober up, I will post a full report of what the painkillers taste like.

Update on Isaac Bartender

Apparently Isaac is a valued customer at Holland America Line. In fact, he even got a promotional e-mail about upcoming cruise deals which now includes his own guest number.

Weather

It's a nice day here. I just went swimming in my pool, which is currently 83 degrees. Not bad for the middle of October. All things considered, I wouldn't mind being in Boston tonight to watch the Red Sox lose to the Rays.

100,000 Miles

My work vehicle just turned 100,000 miles. I've had the car since new, and received it in April 2003. It's scheduled to last for 7 years. It's in great shape so I think it will reach that goal.
